      Thank you! I used Zar’s oil-based stain in a Modern Walnut color, and finished with a coat of poly in an Antique Flat finish. –Jenn @ Build Basic

    Brilliant! Using the mending plates to hold the mirror is such a great idea, that I will be about to use.

      Thanks, Mel! I actually forgot to buy something to hold in the mirror, and had some mending plates laying around, so it was a “happy accident” that worked out perfectly! Opps! — Jenn @ Build Basic
